Mission Statement

If you will notice the scrolling message above, you will see the three distinctives of our church.

We seek to spread the good news of forgiveness of sins and eternal life by believing on God's Son, Jesus Christ.

After people have placed their faith in Jesus, we offer many ways for new believers to grow from spiritual infancy into fully grown, mature, Christians.

Of course, the great indicator that we are Christ's followers is that we love one another as He has loved us.

New Junior Church Quarter Begins

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, new Junior Church Teams will take over for the second quarter. Typically, the Teams stay with their groups for 12 Sundays, then they are relieved at the end of the quarter to join the others in the Morning Worship Services.

Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Bible Study begines Thursday January 14th, 2010. Thursday morning bible study will begin a new study by Eddie Rasnake, The Following God Series, Romans. Evening Bible Study will continue with the current study. Both Studies will begin Thursday January 14th. Contact Phyllis Barbour for the morning study or Phyllis Thacker for the evening study. Pick up your ladies morning Bible Study Book at the information desk after the morning service from Phyllis Barbour. Cost will be $11.40.

PASTOR BARRY'S LINK UP MINISTRY

This website is dedicated to keeping our people informed as to the opportunities we as an assembly have to impact our local neighborhoods for the cause of Christ. We try to keep you up to date with the things God is doing with the homeless and poor. When we have opportunities to work with substance abusers and with the 1/2 dozen or so inmates at the Western Regional Jail, we will show you how you can pray for them and even encourage them if you sense the Spirit's leading in that way.
